Passengers flying into Gatwick airport were in a state of panic after an attention seeking youtube prankster / click baiter made letters saying “welcome to Luton” on the grass near Gatwick airport! Air passengers flying into Gatwick were left thinking that they have been diverted to London Luton Airport”. It was even reported in the Daily Mail, the Daily Telegraph, etc.

If you would like to work in Ireland and are not a citizen of the EU or European Economic Area, then you will need to apply for a work visa. There are four main types of employment permits: General Employment Permit (formerly Work Permit), Critical Skills Employment Permit (formerly Green Card), Dependent/Partner/Spouse Employment Permit, and Reactivation Permit.

Ever wondered what the cost of living is in Ireland

It should be noted that in general the cost of living in the Republic of Ireland is decreasing. However, as Ireland had become one of the most expensive places to live in recent years, this decrease might not be readily apparent to those who have recently moved or intend to move here.

Nevertheless, electricity and gas prices are on the decrease. There are obvious reductions in the price of food as a consequence of the arrival of Lidl/Aldi and also because the recession (depression) has made people more aware of what they spend.
